The two apartments located in Kasese, Western Uganda are specifically designed to accommodate guests who visit the nearby coffee plantations. These apartments serve as a comfortable business stop, with the ground floor apartment having a small garden and being perfect for hosting one family. On the other hand, the upper apartment is designed to accommodate a group of work individuals and offers sweeping views of the mountain range.
Both apartments feature a kitchen, dining and living area, outdoor space, three rooms, and two full bathrooms. The construction of these apartments is done using cement blocks manufactured on-site. The rectangular footprint of the building is simple and adapts to the site’s location. The shape and location of the terraces and windows allow for small heat gains and enhance cross-ventilation, which is much needed in the hot climate of Kasese.
