A detached garage in a secluded neighborhood in Charlotte has been transformed into two offices, one on the ground floor and another in the attic. The ground floor features a side entrance with a small office/meeting room and a toilet. The reception area has windows that open to the outdoors and glass partitions that allow natural light to flood in.
The attic has been outfitted with insulation, ceiling, and new flooring of synthetic wood. Three skylights have been added to the east-facing roof slope, making the entire space bright and inviting. This area has been converted into a spacious office with a quiet area that includes a bed or a sofa-bed, bookshelves, and storage cabinets on the sides where the slope doesn’t allow for comfortable movement. At the end of the space, there is an office with views through the gable window, separated by a glass partition.
